G. Franco Romagnoli was an Italian chef and television personality. Franco and his wife Margaret hosted the PBS showThe Romagnolis’ Table, which educated many Americans about authentic Italian cuisine in the 1970s. Franco and Margaret’s cookbooks includeThe Romagnolis’ Table,The New Italian CookingandZuppa!Before his culinary career, Franco was a cameraman and director at a Roman film studio and at a public television station in Boston, and he also freelanced as a cinematographer for documentaries and commercials. Franco died in 2008.
