Eva Longoria is an award-winning actor, director, producer and cookbook author. Her first cookbook,Eva’s Kitchen,was aNew York Timesbestseller. She recently published her second cookbook,My Mexican Kitchen. She also hosts a culinary podcast,Hungry for History.
Eva starred in CNN’sEva Longoria: Searching For Mexico,an original docuseries that launched in 2023. A new iteration of CNN’s popularStanley Tucci: Searching for Italythat Eva pitched to the network herself, the six-part docuseries follows the star as she travels across Mexico exploring the country’s cuisine.
While working full-time onDesperate Housewives, Eva earned her master’s degree in Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge in 2013. She wrote her thesis on “Success STEMS from Diversity: The Value of Latinas in STEM Careers.” She received her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
