Few of us can ever hope to compose a hit song like Dolly Parton. But in all herBook Ladymagnanimity, Parton has shared another set of potential hits with fans. For the third year in a row, January has meant a drop of newDuncan Hines & Dolly Parton Collectionbaked goods. This time, the all-star team is focused on breakfast, though there’s more to crave, including a pair of cakes.

The new mixes includecinnamon crumb cake,blueberry muffinsandbanana nut muffins. But arguably, the headliner isParton’s buttermilk pancake mix. Though the box says “just add water,” there’s also a recipe included for Dolly’s Extra Special Southern-Style Buttermilk Medley Pancakes. One package allows a home cook to whip up 30 flapjacks.

Parton’s collaboration with Conagra Foods (the parent company of Duncan Hines) is available at mass retailers and grocery stores around the country. The cakes are priced at $3.49. The muffin mixes are $4.40, while the pancakes retail for $3.99.

Real Parton devotees, however, will want to check outbakingwithdolly.comfor the limited-edition, online-exclusiveDolly Parton’s Bake Like a Rockstar Baking Collection. For $40, Smokey Mountain Songbird fanatics receive a box filled with the blueberry muffin, cinnamon swirl crumb cake and muffin, and chocolate flavored cake mixes. To frost the cake, there’s creamy chocolate buttercream frosting. There’s also a Dolly Parton collectible magnet, a “Dolly-inspired” oven mitt, three keepsake Dolly Parton recipes and “a special note from Dolly.” The box is only available until supplies last and customers are limited to four per order.
