Ingredients
Crushed ice
1 ½ounceswhite rum or other unflavored rum
2tablespoonsfresh lime juice
½ounceorange liqueur or 1 tablespoon orange juice
1tablespoonorgeat (see Tip)
½ouncedark rum
⅛teaspoonground cinnamon
Lime slice, mint sprig and/or organic edible flower for garnish
DirectionsFill a glass to the brim with crushed ice. Place more ice in a cocktail shaker; add white rum, lime juice, orange liqueur (or orange juice) and orgeat to the shaker. Cover and shake until chilled; strain into the prepared glass. Gently pour dark rum along the top of the drink (you can run it over the back of a spoon into the top of the glass to “float” it). Dust the top of the drink with cinnamon, then garnish with lime slice, mint sprig and/or flower, if desired.TipsTip: Orgeat is a sweet almond syrup with floral notes. If you don’t happen to keep orgeat on hand, you can mix up this quick substitution: Combine 1 Tbsp. honey, 1 Tbsp. hot water and 1/8 tsp. almond extract in a small bowl; stir until the honey is completely dissolved. Let cool completely before using. Makes enough for 2 drinks.Originally appeared: EatingWell.com, May 2020

Nutrition Facts(per serving)
- Daily Values (DVs) are the recommended amounts of nutrients to consume each day. Percent Daily Value (%DV) found on nutrition labels tells you how much a serving of a particular food or recipe contributes to each of those total recommended amounts. Per the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the daily value is based on a standard 2,000 calorie diet. Depending on your calorie needs or if you have a health condition, you may need more or less of particular nutrients. (For example, it’s recommended that people following a heart-healthy diet eat less sodium on a daily basis compared to those following a standard diet.)
