There’s an active recall on chocolate sold across Canada, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. This is due to an undeclared allergen in the product.

The chocolate was investigated once a consumer reported experiencing an allergic reaction to tree nuts after eating the product. It was found that the product may contain hazelnuts, which was an undeclared allergen on the packaging, resulting in this recall.
Those with a tree nut allergy may experience an allergic reaction as severe as anaphylaxis after eating this chocolate. Symptoms of anaphylactic shock include hives, swelling, tightness of the throat, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness and cardiac arrest. If you are showing any of these signs after consuming this recalled chocolate, call 911 immediately.
