There’s anactive recallon Great Value branded cashews, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). This is due to undeclared milk and coconut in the product, which are allergens.

The recall was announced after a consumer report of finding coconut cashews in a can of honey roasted cashews. An investigation concluded that there were coconut cashews mislabeled as honey roasted, causing the recall.

If you have the impacted product on hand, dispose of it immediately or return the product to a Walmart store for a full refund. While there are no illnesses connected to this recall, those with coconut or milk allergies that consume this product run the risk of experiencing a severe or life-threatening allergic reaction, likeanaphylaxis.

Common symptoms of anaphylactic reaction include nausea or vomiting, hives or swelling, trouble breathing, dizziness and fainting, among others. If you believe you are experiencing an allergic reaction after consuming this product, call 911 immediately.
