Carolyn Williams, Ph.D., RD, is a 2017 James Beard Journalism Award winner and a leading culinary nutrition expert who has developed a knack for breaking complex science into simple, concise bits of information and tips. Her work is regularly featured in print and online for lifestyle brands and media outlets such as EatingWell, Real Simple, Cooking Light and Allrecipes. The topics are related to food, nutrition and healthy living, and they range from inflammation to mental health. She also creates quick, healthy recipes that you can’t wait to eat!

Carolyn’s realistic approach to anti-inflammatory cooking, eating and living helped make her first anti-inflammatory cookbook, Meals That Heal: 100+ Everyday Anti-Inflammatory Recipes in 30 Minutes or Less, an instant hit. The cookbook’s success cemented her position as a leading expert on anti-inflammatory eating and managing chronic inflammation through lifestyle, and she regularly speaks at conferences and events.

In 2021, Carolyn co-launched the Happy Eating podcast. The podcast explores the effects that diet and lifestyle have on brain health and mental wellness through interviews and candid but light-hearted conversations.
