While technically not PFAS-free, EatingWell editors still named Made In’s nonstick frying pans the “Best Nonstick” set in their tested roundup of nontoxic cookware. This is because the brand employs “ultrashort” or “short-chain” PFAS that are approved for use in cooking equipment due to their “negligible risk of food migration.” Our editors found these pans to be “lighter in weight and more ergonomic” than the other cookware sets tested and with a “terrifically nonstick” exterior.
